Vaccinations

Vaccinations protect animals against infectious diseases that can be life-threatening. Some of these diseases can also be transmitted to humans.

In many places, it is a legal requirement to have your pet vaccinated against certain diseases, such as rabies.

Vaccinations not only protect the individual animal but also the community as a whole. By vaccinating your pet, you can help prevent the spread of diseases to other animals.

examinations

The purpose of a wellness examination is to identify any potential health problems early on, before they become more serious or difficult to treat. This allows the vet to provide preventive care and treatment as needed to keep the animal healthy and happy.

It’s recommended that pets receive a wellness exam at least once a year, although some pets may require more frequent exams depending on their age, health status, and other factors.

microchipping

A microchip is a tiny device that is implanted under the animal’s skin and contains a unique identification number. If the animal becomes lost or stolen, the microchip can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter to identify the animal and reunite it with its owner.

surgery

Surgery is not always the first option: In many cases, a veterinarian may recommend non-surgical treatments before recommending surgery. Surgery is usually considered when other treatments have not been effective or when the condition is too severe to be treated by other means.

dental

Dental services include exam, scaling, polishing, fluoride, tooth extractions, and pain medications.

Dental disease can have negative effects on other parts of the animal’s body, such as the heart and kidneys. Treating dental disease can help improve the animal’s overall health and prevent these negative effects.

Dental procedures can also help manage bad breath, which is often caused by dental disease.

nail trims

Trimming your animal’s nails is an important part of grooming, as overgrown nails can cause discomfort, pain, and even lead to health problems.
